2022年度は，養育者評定による子どもの情動調整方略に関する尺度を作成し，その信頼性・妥当性を検討するため，幼児・児童の主養育者を対象にWeb調査を実施した。前年度に行った自由記述を用いた予備調査の結果，およびGross（1998）のプロセスモデルにもとづき，子どもが嫌な出来事に出会ったり，物事が思い通りにいかなかったりして，不快な気持ちになっている場面を想定し，状況選択・修正，注意の方向づけ，認知的変化，反応修正に，非調整（表出）を加えた5種類の方略の使用について問う，計38項目を作成した。非調整（表出）を除く4種類の方略については，子ども単独によるのものと，養育者の援助や親子の相互作用を含むものが，それぞれ半数程度となるようにした。また尺度の妥当性検討のために，SDQ（Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire：子どもの強さと困難さアンケート）と，自己制御機能尺度（大内・長尾・櫻井, 2008）を同時に実施した。さらに，再検査信頼性を算出するために，1回目調査のおよそ2ヶ月後に，対象者の中から120名の養育者に対して，同一の項目で2回目調査を行った。探索的因子分析の結果，想定した5種類の情動調整方略のうち，「注意の方向づけ」と「非調整（表出）」のみが抽出された。「注意の方向付け」はα係数は比較的高かったものの，社会性発達に関する既存の尺度との関連が一貫して見出されず，妥当性に課題が残った。また，「状況選択・修正」や「認知的変化」など想定した因子が抽出されなかったため，項目内容にさらなる検討が必要である。この研究の成果は日本心理学会第87回大会において発表予定である。
