初年度である今年は毒物に関する管理方法とその許可の書類申請を行い、承認を得たうえで神経系の細胞と試薬類の購入を行った。コロナ禍の影響で試薬類や細胞の納品が非常に遅れたため、準備が難航した側面があった。結果的には神経系の細胞の培養に成功し、複数のストックの作成を行い、現在薬物刺激の予備実験を行っている。また脂肪組織由来幹細胞に関しても新たに本実験に備えてストックを作成し、神経系の実験に使用する準備が整った状態である。
