歯科医師が歯科心身症と思われる患者を前にして、何を診て、どのように介入し、どう治療していけば良いかの臨床的指針の確立を目指し、臨床的な研究をメインに行い、以下のような研究成果を得た。1.入院治療を行った舌痛症やかかりつけ歯科との連携を行った非定型歯痛、さらにAmitriptyline単剤で満足な治療効果が得られた口腔セネストパチーの症例報告を行い、具体的な診断過程や治療経過の詳細を検討し、臨床的寛解基準の開発を試みた。2.直近の臨床データからretrospectiveに解析し、治療選択に直結した臨床指標の抽出とAmitriptylineの治療窓（therapeutic window）や至適最小用量(minimal optimal dose）の同定を試みている。3.歯科領域の難治性疼痛と潜在するattention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder（ADHD）や autism spectrum disorder（ASD）との関連や診断と治療法について専門医と協働し検討した。4．歯科領域の慢性疼痛に対して処方されたAmitriptylineの副作用や精神科処方による口腔領域の副作用としての開咬（open　bite）について検討し、症例報告を行った。5.舌痛症の長期予後について、outcome評価のための臨床指標や臨床的寛解基準の必要性について海外の研究者と誌上で議論した。6．新しい疾患横断的な病態仮説として、心理的ストレスと腸内細菌と腸‐脳相関（心身相関）について提唱した。7.歯科医師の素養として基本的なDMFT歯数を比較検討し、歯科心身症患者の残存歯数に着目することで、精神疾との鑑別の一助になることを明らかにした。

Dental physicians are concerned about the development of dental psychosomatic thinking, how to diagnose, how to intervene, how to treat, and how to establish clinical guidelines for clinical research. The following research results are obtained. 1. We will conduct case reports on glossodynia and atypical dental pain that can be treated in conjunction with dentistry, and also provide comprehensive treatment results with Amitriptyline alone. We will conduct detailed discussions on the specific diagnosis process and treatment process, and develop clinical benchmarks to broaden understanding. 2. The clinical parameters were analyzed retrospectively, and the therapeutic window of Amitriptyline was adjusted to the minimum optimal dose. 3. Refractory pain in the dental field and potential attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related diagnosis and treatment 4. Chronic pain in the dental field, side effects of Amitriptyline and psychiatric prescription, side effects in the oral field, open bite, case report 5. The long-term prognosis of glossodynia, outcome evaluation, clinical indicators and the necessity of clinical relief criteria are discussed by overseas researchers and journals. 6. New diseases are related to intestinal bacteria and intestinal diseases (psychosomatic). 7. Dentists 'literacy and basic DMFT numbers are discussed, and the number of remaining dental patients with psychosomatic disorders is discussed.
