本研究の目的は宜蘭クレオール澳花方言の文法書、語彙集及び談話集を作成することである。宜蘭クレオールの話者に言語調査を行い、調査票による形態論、統語論に関する調査を中心としながら、語彙と談話を収集する。得たデータを元に宜蘭クレオールの記述を行う。本年度はオンライン調査を4回、電話調査1回及び現地調査1回を実施した。オンラインや電話での調査は対面ではなく、話者への配慮もあり、実施時間は比較的に短いため、データ収集の進捗は遅れている。年度後半、COVID-19の緩和により、海外現地への調査が可能になったため、台湾宜蘭県澳花村にて対面調査を1回実施した。形態論に関するデータと談話の収録を行った。本年度は形態論をメインとして進める予定だったが、形態論についてのデータの数は予想より大幅に下回っているため、不明点がたくさんある状態にとどまり、記述することが難しかった。その代わり、談話資料を予想以上調査できて、中年層の話者による3-4時間の談話データを収録できた。形態論の記述の代わりに、談話資料集の作成に着手した。すでに修士論文（宜蘭クレオールの音韻論の記述）に掲載された例文を含め、既存のデータと新しく取得したデータを合わせて、例文と自然談話を整理して、適切な説明付きでオンラインでの公開を目指している。それに加えて、日琉オンライン辞書（Online Dictionary of the Japonic Languages、以下ODJL）に資料を提供した。今まで得た言語データを整理し、語彙とその例文をリストアップしODJLで公開した。新しいデータができた次第、追加提供を行う予定である。談話集の作成とオンライン辞書への資料提供により、他の研究者でも一般の方々でも宜蘭クレオールの情報へのアクセスが簡単になり、宜蘭クレオールをより多くの人に知ってもらうことに有益だと考えている。
