项目摘要

1 1955年以降の日・米・英の大企業について、各国100企業を取上げ、各7変数を5年ごとに算定し、変数間の変動係数等の比較から、企業の行動様式の違いを解明した。2 あわせて企業の行動様式から目標を解明する仮説をつくり、その検証を試みた。また、検出された目標変数が、行動様式の違いの原因として意味があったかどうかについて、回帰分析を行なった。3 この研究は、推論の域にとどまっていた企業の行動様式に関する議論に、事実に基づく論証という新局面をもたらした。しかし、企業の目標に関しては、同一のステイクホウルダーの効用をあらわすと考えられる複数の変数が、異なった動きを示したり、相対立するはずの変数が似た動きを示すというような、奇異な結果も生じた。4 この原因の一つは、目標と行動様式とを、同じ諸変数によって5年間隔でみた結果、原因と結果の時間関係が正確にたどれていないことによる、と判断した。そこで今年度は、日本企業36社について、毎年のデータを作成し、グランジャー因果性を適用して時系列分析を試み、変数間の因果関係をより厳密に確定した。5 仮説どおりにならなかった原因のいま一つとして、ステイクホウルダーは自らの効用を最大化するとはかぎらない、という問題があることに気づいた。今後の課題は、企業の担い手間の協調や利他的行動を説明するモデルに基づいて、より精緻な分析枠組と、それを支える精密なデータを作成することである。
