本研究は、昨今の先進諸国の喫緊の課題であるインフレ率の制御と安定化のために、インフレ率の値が個々の企業の行動に与える影響と、その結果として経済全体の動学を決定づけるメカニズムの理論及び実証的な考察を行い、インフレ率と金融政策の効率性との間にある関係を分析することを目的としている。具体的には、企業間の異質性と情報制約など実質の硬直性を考慮したメニューコストモデルを構築し、（1）企業間の異質性やフリクションが個別企業の意思決定・その分布に与える影響と、（2）均衡インフレ率とこれらの変数との関係性を求め、（3）この企業行動を通じた経路が金融政策の有効性に与える効果を分析する。本年度は、既存のモデルをもとに、主に理論分析と精緻な数値計算の研究を行った。具体的には、企業間の戦略的補完性と情報制約を含んだ企業の意思決定を導出するために、平均場ゲームを用いて最適化問題を記述し、その数値解の導出を試みた。企業の意思決定の際に用いる情報集合に制約があること、及び個々の企業の意思決定行動がその状態変数に依存して異質性を持つことは、従来のマクロ経済学で用いられてきた理論モデルでは捨象されてきたものの、実証研究結果と整合的な要素である。こうした拡張によって、従来のモデルではとらえられない経済事象を説明するための新たなメカニズムを求めることが出来た。特に、均衡のインフレ率が企業の価格設定とその分布を通じて金融政策ショックの波及経路に影響を及ぼすことを示した。これは金融政策運営を議論する上でも重要な結果であり、実務上でも意義も持つと考えられる。
