项目摘要

ヒトは自身の目的や意図を他者と共有することで、複雑な協力行動をおこなうことができる。複雑な社会の中で生活をする人にとって、このような社会的認知能力は最も重要な能力の一つといえる。そのため比較認知科学において、こういった協力行動の進化的起源を探る試みは長いこと注目を浴びている。しかしこれまでの研究の多くは協力行動の有無の報告にとどまっており、協力行動を支える認知機構を綿密に調べた研究はほとんどない。そこで、本研究では、タッチスクリーンをもちいた2個体の協力課題遂行時に、被験体間でそういった共表象が生成されるのか、を実験的に分析する。2022年度は、まず単独条件として、一個体ずつ実験室に連れてきて装置への馴化を済ませたのち、数字系列課題を実施した。単独条件での基準成績に到達した個体から、順次ペア条件へと移行した。ペア条件のテスト場面においては、各個体は隣接する別の小部屋に入り、その部屋の中から共通のタッチスクリーンを操作し課題を遂行する。相手個体の行動はアクリル越しに観察可能であり、この状態で数字系列課題を協働しておこなう。2022年度は1ペアについてこのペアで隣接する部屋に入りタッチパネルを共有するテストを終え、もう1ペアの馴致を進めた。加えて、どうしても複数個体場面では課題をおこなわない被験体について、ヒトがパートナーを務める対ヒト条件を設定するため、新たな装置を作成するとともに、ヒトパートナーと協働する場面への馴致を進めた。3個体がこの馴致をおえ、2023年度にはテストにうつれる見込みである。
