過去から現在までの氷河湖とその周辺の地形変化を調べるため，1960～1970年代に取得されたCorona衛星のステレオ画像データとMetashape（SfMソフト）を用いて，キルギス山脈とテスケイ山脈のオルソ画像とDSMを作成した．オルソ画像から当時の氷河湖データを作成し，2000年のLandsat-4/5/7，2021年のPlanetとSentinel-2の衛星画像を用いて，3時期の氷河湖の位置と氷河湖が形成されるモレーンコンプレックスの地形変化を調べた．短命氷河湖の形成環境を調べるため，昨年の9月に現地調査をおこなった．近年大きく面積が変化するテスケイ山脈のトゥップ氷河湖1,2において，水位計と地温計の設置，ドローン空撮，GPSによる氷河湖範囲の計測をおこなった．また，同山脈のコルムドゥ氷河湖に自動気象観測機器を設置し，氷河上でドローン空撮，氷河の融解量観測のためのステークを5本設置した．また，コルムドゥ氷河湖，ゴルトール氷河湖1，2でドローン空撮と水位計を設置した．2017年に氷河湖決壊洪水を起こしたキルギス山脈のチェレクトール氷河湖において，水位計と地温計の設置，ドローン空撮，GPSによる氷河湖範囲の計測をおこなった．また，キルギス山脈における近年の氷河湖変動を分類し，その面積変動の特徴を記した内容の投稿論文がFrontiers in Earth Scienceに掲載された．
