本研究の目的は、シンガポールと英国の文化政策における大英帝国時代文化遺産への評価の変化を比較検討することにある。今年度はシンガポールにおける独立当時から現在までの自国史における植民地時代の評価の変遷についての調査を実施した。３年ぶりの海外出張が叶ったので、現地文献調査と博物館訪問を中心に研究を進めた。出張目的は次の２点。①現地での資料収集、関連書籍購入、②大英帝国時代の象徴的文化遺産 （建造物）の現状調査の実施である。①では特に、国立図書館にて1965年独立の次年度1966年～現在の政府発行年鑑のうち、紙媒体発行の1966年度～2008年度年鑑を閲覧し、英国植民地時代と日本占領下時代に関する記述具体的な内容と分量の変化を調査した。高校の歴史教科書では植民地時代も「現社会形成初期」から「近代史の一段階」という扱いへの変化が如実に読み取れた。②では、シンガポール国家遺産局（National Heritage Board）が2022年７月から11月に実施した“ SG Heritage Plan 2.0”の内容を検証し、また現地旧コロニアル地区に整備されたHeritage Trail、第一次大戦、第二次大戦の記念碑などを実際に歩きながら、現在のシンガポールから見た旧植民地時代について巡検した。また、国立博物館における英国植民地時代と日本軍政下時代の展示方法についても、過去の展示方法との比較の観点から調査を実施した。特に第二次大戦末期英国軍の降伏、その後日本の敗戦後に英国復帰当時の映像の選択、キャプションには、国際関係の変化が明確に反され興味深く観察した。今年度は所属学科改編２年目に学科長を担当し、学務に多忙を極めたため、研究会発表のみで、まとまった執筆をすることができなかった。本年は収集した資料を基に調査報告をまとめたいと考えている。

The purpose of this study is to make a comparative study of British cultural policy and the evolution of British cultural heritage. This year, the investigation was carried out in the period of independence and the period of transition from the history of the country to the present. 3 years of overseas research, local literature research, museum visits, research 2 points for the reverse of the open eye. (1) Collection of local data, purchase of related books,(2) Survey of the status quo of cultural heritage (buildings) characteristic of the British Empire era. (1) The National Library of China (1965), the second year of independence (1966 - 2008), and the paper media (1966 - 2008) published yearbooks. The history textbooks of colleges and universities are divided into two parts: "the initial stage of the formation of modern society" and "the stage of modern history". The National Heritage Board implemented the contents of SG Heritage Plan 2.0 from July to November 2022, and verified the contents of SG Heritage Plan 2.0. The Heritage Trail, the first and second large-scale monuments, and the current SG Heritage Plan 2.0 were prepared for the old planting area. The National Museum conducted a survey on the display methods of the British colonial era and the Japanese military era, comparing the display methods of the past and the points of comparison. In particular, at the end of the Second Great War, after the surrender of the British army and the defeat of Japan, the British re-examination of the image of the time, the change of international relations, and the clear and profound interest of the people. This year, the discipline to which it belongs is revised for 2 years. The discipline leader is busy with the research meeting. This year's collection of data is based on research.
