项目摘要

本研究は大きく、１）データベース作成の段階（2022年度と2023年度）・２）内容分析の段階（2023年度と2024年度）・③総合的段階（2024年度と2025年度）という3つの作業で構成されている。初年度に当たる令和4年度は、１）すなわち「大旅行」後期の『大旅行誌』計20巻（第13巻から第33巻まで）のデータ処理を集中的に行い、二年度をかけてデータベースを作成する二年間、その前半にあたる。そのために今年度はこれまで手掛けてきたデータベースのブラッシュアップ、ならびに未作業巻のデータベース化に取り組んだ。後者については、なんとか２名の学生バイトが確保でき、32巻のDB化を進めることができた。第２に、第13巻から第25巻までの地理データのGISファイル化（.kmzファイル）にも着手することができた。各巻各旅行ルートにおける主要都市のみであるとはいえ、初年度に大旅行のマッピングをスタートすることができたのは大きな意味を持ち、以下の第３・第４にその成果に活かすことができた。第３は、研究成果の発表である。研究メンバー１名が関西大学KU-ORCAS研究集会「言語研究とデジタル・ヒューマニティーズ」において、またメンバー全員が国際シンポジウム「東亜同文書院「大旅行」と現代東アジア」（本学国際問題研究所主催・東亜同文書院記念センター共催、3月11日・本学名古屋キャンパス）においてそれぞれの研究関心にもとづいて発表を行った。第４に、デジタルアーカイブの試行版の作成がある。これはネット上の無料サービスを利用したものであるが、それをつうじて地図や年表などを用いてどのようなアーカイブの公開を目指すのかという目標をより明確にすることができ、次年度以降の作業の大きなはずみとすることができた。
