项目摘要

今年度の主な研究実績は、以下の四点である。一点目は、人種、カースト、階級、職業と世系といった概念の関連性を解明する研究が進展した点である。人権侵害の改善に向けた政策について国際人権の枠組みに照らしながら考察する機会を多数構築できた。職業と世系に基づく差別を受ける世界各地のコミュニティから成るネットワーク組織に加わることによりこれらの研究が可能となった。この過程に関与している部落問題の研究者は一人だけであり、本研究は非常に重要である。二点目は、北米および中南米における、人種、階級、ジェンダーに関連する研究者とのネットワークを構築することにより、レイシズム研究にかんする最新の知見を得ながら研究を進めることができた点である。レイシズムならびにジェンダーをめぐって、研究、教育、社会運動は困難性に直面している。この時期に米国を含む他国において研究会等に数多く参加する機会を得たことは、部落問題研究との架橋という点からも重要である。三点目は、米国における多様な社会運動への関与ならびに共同研究への参加をつうじて、とりわけブラック男性をめぐる国家および資本主義との関係について、社会運動家、研究者、政策立案者との協議から多くの示唆を得ることができた点である。レイシャル・キャピタリズムやブラック・マルキシズムといった概念の部落問題への適用性を検証することは未着手のため、他の差別研究との連関性を探るという点からも意義がある。四点目は、部落史研究者および部落解放運動家との共同研究に着手した点である。部落差別と国家および資本との関係、人種、階級、カースト、ジェンダー、家父長制との関係といった側面から、上記三点の研究進捗を踏まえた議論を重ねることができた。これまでの部落問題研究を振り返るとともに、上述したような他国の差別研究を踏まえ、部落差別研究の新たな展開を国際的に発信することは重要である。
