近年のホットトピックとして、心不全を中心とした循環器疾患患者におけるフレイルの併存率の高さが問題となっている。そうした課題に対する解決策として、心疾患患者において、回復期の包括的心臓リハビリテーションによる運動療法に加えて、βヒドロキシβメチル酪酸カルシウムの併用による筋力・筋量および心機能に対する効果を調査し、さらに、心疾患患者におけるβヒドロキシβメチル酪酸カルシウムの腎臓への安全性を調査することを目的として、特定臨床研究の倫理承認を受け、令和4年4月にjRCTにプロトコルを掲載した。併せて、プロトコル論文を執筆し、2023年1月にBMJ Openに掲載された。Covid-19の影響の他、特定臨床研究の倫理審査と院内会計システムの調整に時間を要したため、本試験のリクルートを2022年12月に開始し、実運用を2023年1月より行い、現在、登録患者数は15名である。

In recent years, the incidence of heart failure in patients with circulatory disorders has been high. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of exercise therapy on cardiac function, muscle mass and cardiac function in patients with heart disease, including the recovery period, and to investigate the safety of renal muscle mass in patients with heart disease. Ethical recognition of specific clinical studies was announced in April 2004. The BMJ Open was published in January 2023. The impact of Covid-19, the timing of ethical review of specific clinical studies and adjustment of in-hospital accounting system, the trial began in December 2022, and the number of registered patients was 15 in January 2023.
