本研究の目的は、男女別に労働者の休養状態を複数の要素で評価する構造化された指標「休養評価尺度」を作成することである。「休養」は、こころの健康を保つため心身の疲労回復と充実した人生を目指すために重要な要素である（厚生労働省：2012）。睡眠や運動・身体活動のように休養を評価する指標はなく、対象者の主観的な調査が多い。コロナ禍で普及したリモートワークは、労働と余暇の境界が曖昧に成り易い。休養を評価することは、睡眠や保健行動、余暇の過ごし方などの勤務時間内外の要素が含まれた労働者の健康状態が包括的に把握できると考えた。現代の労働者の働き方や意識は男女で異なり、休養の様相も違いがあることから男女別に休養評価尺度を作成することとした。今年度は男性労働者の休養について注目して概念を検討した。その結果をふまえ、女性用の調査内容を作成するために、文献検討や産業衛生の専門家からの意見を収集して知見を深めた。女性が考える休養についてインタビュー調査を実施するため、研究内容や対象の選定を行った。新型コロナウイルス感染症の5類移行により、リモートワークや勤務時間や勤務形態、休日の過ごし方に変化がみられると考え、調査の実施は翌年度とすることとした。
