今年度は、主に2つの研究課題に取り組んだ。一つ目は、大学女子サッカー選手の試合中の動きをGPSパフォーマンス分析装置を用いて分析した。地域社会人1部リーグに所属する大学女子サッカー選手20名（フィールドプレーヤーのみ）を対象に練習試合中の動きをGPSパフォーマンス分析装置を用いて分析した。絶対値で大学男子サッカー選手と比較した場合、女子サッカー選手の試合中の動きは、同程度の競技レベルの男子サッカー選手と比較して異なる可能性があことが明らかになった。次年度は、分析対象をさまざまな競技レベルに設定すること、また30mスプリント時の最大疾走速度を100%とした場合の相対的な疾走速度域を設定して分析することによって、女子サッカー選手の試合中の動きの特徴を詳細に明らかにする予定である。二つ目は、異なる重さと大きさのサッカーボールを使用して、大学男子サッカー選手と大学女子サッカー選手を対象に最大努力時のインステップキック時のボール速度を分析した。具体的に、大学男子サッカー選手28名と大学女子サッカー選手26名を対象に5号球（外周69cm、重さ430g）と4号球（外周66cm、370g）を用いて全力でのインステップキック時のボール速度を分析した。大学男子サッカー選手は、ボールの種類によってインステップキック時のボールスピードに有意な差はなかったが、大学女子サッカー選手は、4号球では、5号球を用いた時と比較して2%程度インステップキック時のボールスピードが有意に高かった。ただし、男子サッカー選手のデータはばらつきが大きいため、再度データ取得時の方法について検討し、再実験を行う予定である。
