日本における分娩の75％はNICUを持たない施設であり、正常分娩では専門医（新生児科医・小児科医）の立ち合いがない。しかしながら、正常分娩であっても出生新生児の15％は呼吸を確立するために刺激や吸引等、何らかの医療的処置を必要とする。そのため、NICUを持たない施設の看護職には、出生直後の新生児の異常を認識・評価・介入するための知識・技術・実践能力が求められる。本研究では、NICUを持たない施設の看護職のニーズに合わせたシミュレーション学習プログラムを開発し、看護職の臨床判断能力、看護実践能力の向上を目指す。令和4年度は、「NICUを持たない施設における新生児蘇生法（NCPR）講習会受講の現状と実践における課題」について、2020年～2021年度にかけて行った質問紙のデータ分析および、学会誌への投稿準備を進めた。今回の調査は、NICUをもたない１施設で分娩に携わる看護職を対象としたものであったが、先行研究と同様に、NICUを持たない施設の看護職は、講習会で学んだ知識・技術を実践の場で活用する機会が少ない、講習会での学びが実践現場での行動につながらない、継続学習の機会が少ないという現状が明らかになった。また、本年度は、日本における周産期医療の現状、周産期ケアに携わる看護職に対する教育についての文献検討を行った。文献検討の結果から、今後は、周産期ケアに携わる看護職に求められる看護実践能力を明らかにすること、経験を実践につなげていくプロセスを明らかにすることを通して、効果的な学習プログラムの開発と評価指標の検討を目指していく。
