出産体験の振り返りの支援に困難感を抱いている看護者の具体的なケア実践に役立つようなアセスメントツールを用いた介入モデルの考案や教育プログラムの検討の前段階として、看護者が実際の振り返りの支援において困った、難しいと感じている具体的な内容や、出産体験の振り返り支援の実践力を向上させるために身に付けたいと考えている技術や能力、出産体験の振り返りアセスメントツールを使用することで予想されるメリットや期待について把握する調査を進めている。支援に困難感を抱く若手スタッフのみならず、そのような看護スタッフを教育する立場の意見も重要である。自ら高度な看護実践力を有しながら、教育機能を用いて所属部署を中心にスタッフの看護実践力向上にむけた意図的な活動を展開する役割をもつ母性看護専門看護師が、所属部署看護スタッフ全体の出産体験の振り返り支援の現状や問題・課題をどのように捉え、どのようなスタッフ教育が必要と考えているかを把握することで、看護者の支援の実態や学習ニーズに沿った介入モデルや教育プログラムを検討することに繋がると考える。そこで、在学中に出産体験の振り返り支援に関する理論を学び在学中および修了後の臨床で実践経験を積んでいる群馬大学大学院保健学研究科母性看護専門看護師コース修了生に焦点を当て、出産体験の振り返りの支援におけるスタッフの課題と、出産体験の振り返り支援の実践力を向上させるために必要と考える技術や能力、出産体験の振り返りアセスメントツールを使用することで予想されるメリットや期待を明らかにする調査を計画しており、現在これらの調査についての実施手続き中である。
