1. 認知的素過程の所要時間の推定昨年度と合わせて約100名の学生を対象に,拡張ストループテストを実施し,色名についての日→英,英→日の変換時間,被験者にとっての母語である日本語および外国語である英語による色命名の所要時間,日本語の表記法(漢字,ひらかな,カタカナ)の違いによる文字読み→発声の所要時間の差,母語におけるストループ効果と外国語におけるストループ効果の違い,などについて検討した.2. 自己発声に対する確認タイミングと心的辞書の構造推定発話の「非流暢性」の生起頻度が高く,慢性的なものは「吃音」と呼ばれる.吃音に関して「発話者が自分の発話内容の確認を行うタイミングが吃音者では非吃音者より遅れる」という確認タイミングモデルを遅延聴覚フィードバック(Delayed Auditory Feedback,DAF)を用いてほぼ確認することができた.また,吃音者は常に発声しにくい音を含む文の代替表現を探しながら発声していることから,吃音者の初期想起文と発話結果の比較に基づいて,その心的辞書の構造を探る方法を考案した.3. コミュニケーションにおけるマルチモーダル処理に関する認知科学的検討対話におけるアイ・コンタクトの役割について次の知見が得られた.a. 人は,相手の視線が自分に向けられているかどうかを視線にして数度で判断できる.b. 人は,互いに視線方向を一致させる睨めっこ状態を長時間継続させるのは苦痛である.c. 人は,視線が自分に向けられているかどうかを,視線以外の情報から判断するのは,それほど得意ではなく,また相手が自分の視線を捕らえているかを自動的には検出できない.
