The UK festival industry is huge, with live music contributing £1.1bn to UK GDP, music tourism contributing £4.2bn to the UK economy, and growing at 12.5% p.a. However, revenue generation tools for the industry are insufficient. Whilst individuals will spend around £350 per trip at festivals, 36% of the revenue is captured by third parties (such as Airbnb & Trainline).
