项目摘要

本研究の目的は、日本における外国人児童の教育に対する日本政府の近年の政策を概観し、家庭内における外国人児童の言語使用、言語意識及び言語意識を形成する要因など、外国人児童に対する言語教育の現状と課題を明らかにし、外国人児童生徒の母語母文化を尊重した学習への支援や学校教育のあり方を考察し、日本における外国語（多言語）教育への示唆を提示する、ことである。本年度は、下記①②の調査研究を実施した。①本研究に関する資料収集・分析を継続した。②新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大の影響によって延期せざるを得なかった、令和3年度第二段階で実施予定だった、福岡市に在住する多言語生徒の保護者を対象とした家庭内言語環境、児童生徒とその家族成員の日本語・母語の使用状況及びそれぞれの言語意識に関する予備的な聞き取り調査、インタビュー調査を実施した。そして、録音された音声データを文字化する作業を行った。現在、文字化されたデータの分析作業を継続して行っている。その一部をまとめ2022年12月に開催された国際学会“CLaSIC2022/Foreign Language Education in the 21st Century: Review, Re-conceptualise and Re-align" (National University of Singapore）にて、口頭発表を行い、会議参加者たちと意見交換を行った。
