Japanese parents' beliefs about children's early English education

在这个项目的第二年，我采访了日本母亲关于他们孩子的早期英语学习，即课外英语课程。第二阶段的研究结果总结在一份研究论文中，该论文目前正在接受一份期刊的审查。在本研究的第三阶段，我将对参加早期留学计划的日本家庭进行个案研究。使用访谈及心理学工具收集数据已于二零二二财政年度开始，并将于二零二三财政年度继续。

For the second year of this project, I interviewed Japanese mothers about their children`s early English learning, i.e. extra-curricular English lessons. Findings from this second stage were summarized in a research paper that is currently under review by a journal. I have also presented these results at an international conference.In the third phase of this project, I am conducting a case study on Japanese families who are participating in early study abroad programs. Data collection using interviews and pscyhological tools has commenced in FY 2022 and will continue in FY 2023.
