项目摘要

2015年度は、まず太閤記物の中でも重要な現行曲である「祇園祭礼信仰記」の作品研究を行い、成果を「「祇園祭礼信仰記」考―人形浄瑠璃における秀吉像をめぐって―」として、近世文学会において口頭発表を行った。次いで、国際演劇学会（IFTR）において大坂軍記物に関する口頭発表「The Difference Between The Popularity of Eastern and Western Bunraku Theatre」（査読付き、英語）を行った。さらに、今年度は本研究課題の最終年度にあたるため、本研究課題のとりまとめとして博士論文「人形浄瑠璃における太閤記物作品群の研究」を執筆した。博士論文は、「第一部　上演史研究」と「第二部　作品研究」の二つに大きく分かれており、太閤記物の上演史研究と作品研究の両輪を行ってきた本研究課題の研究成果が大いに発揮されている。本論文は、人形浄瑠璃の一大ジャンルである太閤記物に関してのはじめての体系的な博士論文である点が画期的である。また、人形浄瑠璃戯曲史の中でも重要作であるとされてきた「祇園祭礼信仰記」、「絵本太功記」などの著名作の作品研究だけではなく、「仮名写安土問答」、「傾城枕軍談」、「恋伝授文武陣立」などのこれまで研究が行き届いていない作品にも光を当てて人形浄瑠璃の太閤記物の中での位置づけを探った点でも意義あるものだと言えよう。2015年度は、博士論文を執筆できたことが第一の大きな成果である。加えて二回の口頭発表も行っている。また、初年度から研究が当初の予定以上の進展を見せていたため、太閤記物に関連が深い関ヶ原物や大坂軍記物に関する論文や口頭発表などの研究成果を出すことができた点が特筆に値する。今後はこの研究課題をさらに発展させ、今回触れることが出来なかった太閤記物作品の作品研究に加えて、大坂軍記物の作品研究も行っていきたい。
