本年度は、この時点までの研究を踏まえたうえでブルターニュ公国という領域国家内部に拡散していた巡礼を初めとする聖人崇敬の表象に関する既存理論の検討や新たな理論の構築に取り組み、研究成果を博士論文としてまとめ提出するための準備と作業を重点的に行った。また、本年度でも引き続き現地に赴き、フランスのパリやレンヌの文書館において必要となる史料の最終的な収集とブレスト近郊のランデヴネック修道院跡及び付属の歴史博物館において現地調査を行い、聖人伝作成の中心地であり中世を通してブルターニュの知的発信地であったこの修道院に関して考察を深めた。現地調査と並行して、これまでの研究の成果をまとめる作業を進めた。平成25年度においてはブルターニュ内外の巡礼や聖人崇敬に関する研究文献の政治・社会的背景を踏まえた検討を行い、平成２６年度には現地調査や現地研究者との交流から、ブルターニュにおける巡礼慣行の展開について叙述史料の読解とフィールドワークを通して考察を深めた。これらの研究成果を踏まえ、本年度は今後提出予定の博士論文として研究成果をまとめ提出する準備を進めた。本論文は巡礼や聖人崇敬を手掛かりとして14-16世紀にかけてのブルターニュ公国において教会や貴族、民衆といった様々な主体がどのような形で宗教的な事柄に関わっていたかについて検討するものである。主に土着の聖人を対象として各地の教会や聖地を中心として発展した聖人崇敬は、公や諸侯の政治的プロパガンダ形成の場、ブルターニュ教会独自の宗教教育の場、ケルト的な民間信仰の表出の場など、様々な枠組みで捉えることができる。本研究では政治・宗教・文化等様々な要素が絡み合う聖人崇敬の形成された政治・社会的背景や宗教的実践について考察し、そこから浮かび上がる中世ブルターニュ社会の様相を検討することが可能になると考える。

This year's research is focused on the study of existing theories and the preparation of doctoral theses. This year, we will conduct on-the-spot investigation and research on the center of the creation of the holy culture, the communication of the middle ages, the communication of the knowledge of the monastery, and the in-depth investigation of the monastery. The results of field investigation and research are progressing. In 2005, the author conducted a thorough review of the political and social background of the research literature, and in 2006, he conducted a field survey of the exchange of information between local researchers and the development of historical records. This year, we will submit a predetermined doctoral thesis and research results. This thesis is about the worship of saints from the 14th to the 16th century. The church, aristocrats, people and the main body of the principality are related to the religious affairs. The church and the holy places of the earth are the center of the development of the worship of the saints, the political development of the princes, the formation of the field, the church's own religious education field, the emergence of the field of folk beliefs, and the organization of the people. This study is about the political, religious and cultural factors, the political and social background, the religious practice and the possible social factors.
