项目摘要

生命現象のリスク因子を抽出するに際して，乱れた波動場に生じる位相特異点の振舞いが一つの重要な指標となり得ることが知られている．例えば，心臓病患者が不整脈の状態にあるときには，心臓表面の電場中で位相特異点が生成と死滅を繰り返しており，また，てんかん患者の脳の表面の電場においても同様の現象が観測されている．こうした乱れた波動場における位相特異点の振舞いを定量化することを目的に，今年度も引き続き，散逸媒質の非線形波動方程式の標準形である複素Ginzburg-Landau方程式を対象とした研究を実施した．昨年度も使用した欠陥乱流中で局在波を同定する方法を用いることで，欠陥，ホール，振幅変調波を検出した．この中でも特に，生体内において広く観測されている位相欠陥と関連すると思われるホールの性質を明らかにした．欠陥乱流中を運動する個々のホールは，それぞれが時間的に変動する速度のもとで粒子のように運動していることがわかった．これは，欠陥乱流中で生成・死滅を繰り返す局在波同士の運動量交換によるものだと考えられる．こうしたホールの速度の時間変動に注目し，これを確率過程としてモデル化することを試みた．個々のホールを判別せずに周期境界条件下でのホールの速度を一つの時系列とみなすと確率密度関数は大偏差統計に従い，自己相関関数は遅い運動に対応するべき減衰と早い運動に対応する指数減衰で特徴づけられることがわかった．また拡散挙動は超拡散を示すことがわかった．これらのすべての統計則を再現する確率過程として，記憶関数で特徴づけられる非定常一般化Cauchy過程を提案した．このモデルから得られたすべての統計則を解析的に導出可能であることを示した．これらの統計則を実際の生体データから観測し，同様の解析を行うことで疾病に関連したリスク因子を定量化できると考えられる．
