JWEL is an innovative circular economy and sharing based retail and B2B platform with the aim of reducing and offsetting the depleting resources and detrimental environmental/societal impacts of the jewellery industry. The brand that focusses on being an ethical, sustainable, resource efficient choice for the consumer that would otherwise not consider the impact of their purchases. As a society we are becoming more conscious of traceability with food, clothing, household goods, etc. but not jewellery. JWEL aims to change that. Our collections are:1. Antique - Historical, pre-loved pieces to re-use what is already in circulation. Avoiding the depletion in resources being the most Eco-Friendly way of purchasing jewellery.2. Handmade - Collaborating with brands, artists and our in-house jeweller to create limited edition pieces from Fair Trade or refined from recycled electronics - precious metals and minerals.3. Mother Earth - Using sustainable innovative methods such as meteorite impact surface mining, locally sourced precious minerals, etc. to produce trend focussed styles targeted towards the healing, yoga and reiki consumer at affordable prices.4. Fine Silver - Recycling discarded silver to create high quality trending pieces to directly compete with high-street giants such as Pandora.5. Watches - the promotion and sale of antique, rare watches that are otherwise discarded. As the male sports watches increase to an achievable price, the consumer is turning to alternative brands and smaller sizes as trends shift, JWEL caters to and thrives within this demographic. Our collections give the consumer a user friendly way to share the impact of maximizing the social good with an auditable and fair supply chain when purchasing jewellery by being innovative and providing traceability & transparency. JWEL does this by making use of technology and more sustainable and ethical methods of production such as the use of recycled gold from electric waste, lab grown, locally sourced and surface mined precious minerals, additive manufacturing instead of exploited crafts people in developing countries, fairly paid craft people and suppliers relative to the value of items sold.JWEL focusses on overlooked factors such as longer product lifetime, repair & upgrading, new production is made with ethical & sustainable methods all of which are targeted towards the Millennial and Gen Z demographic via online platforms differentiation JWEL from other competitors. Overcoming the limitation that smaller independents within the industry who lack an online presence, and retail giants whom of which struggle to be personable with their consumer.
