EdPlace's LEARNEY-AI: Need-driven AI-based adaptive online LEArning jouRNEY

EdPlace is a 2021 BETT-Award-winning company on a mission to transform the learning outcomes of +1 million pupils by 2030\.EdPlace wants to use its unique proprietary dataset of over 250k pupil attainment records and progress data to build a platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to assist tutors, teachers and parents in assessing, planning and delivering interventions which maximise student attainment.This Artificial Intelligence Recommendations(LEARNEY-AI) platform will assess student levels and needs, providing a starting benchmark to track progress against, then adaptively recommend the best teaching focuses and activities to work on based on the outcomes of the last sessions, individual strengths and weaknesses of the pupil, progress through the curriculum and the individual student profile.The grant takes LEARNEY-AI from Technology Readiness Level 4(TRL4) to TRL6\. It also holistically assesses the system from technical, user, legal and market perspectives. EdPlace will test various algorithms using its proprietary data modelling approach. The system will be iteratively improved in three iterations.
