英文摘要
**PROBLEM**The services any organisation provides are referred to in various ways, e.g. "journeys", "pathways", cases, processes etc. These all fall under the broader umbrella term "Service Design".Failures in service design result in service fragmentation and siloed behaviours, inefficient operations and service user dissatisfaction. The "Service Design" discipline relies on visual and facilitation techniques, generating outputs in the form of "post-its", graphical pictures of end-to-end flows etc. Service design is typically resource intensive, expensive and time-consuming in itself, even before implementation work commences. Nor is Service Design defined as a simple, repeatable methodology.**OUR APPROACH**At NolijWork, we're working on simplifying "Service Design", making it accessible to non-experts, shortening timescales and reducing the cost and effort involved, by codifying a new methodological approach through software. In particular, we've identified a number of simplification techniques, including how a monolithic service is reduced to a series of modular outcomes, which are in turn, easy to define.Ultimately we wish our SaaS software platform to be recognised as "Google Maps for Services".**BENEFIT**Users will benefit from being able to analyse and design joined-up services, in a simple and intuitive manner, without the need for specialist analyst or technical skills. The aim is to provide a "paint by numbers" service design methodology, akin to simply entering data in a spreadsheet.
