Cinema8 is a London-based AdTech/EdTech SME with a core project team of Alisan Erdemli (CEO, software engineer, and video technologies expert) and Eren Erdemli (CTO and software engineer).Dynamic and Augmented videos are not only very much on the rise, with nearly 75% of the global population and almost all smartphone users predicted to be frequent users of this technology by 2025, but it also demonstrated its value to retailers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses that used it engaged with more customers and enjoyed a higher conversion rate. However, producing dynamic, interactive, and augmented videos currently involves manipulating every frame of a video with advanced software in a process that takes months and costs hundreds of thousands of pounds. This means that smaller businesses are unable to benefit from this technology.Cinema8 is a drag-and-drop, no-code platform for editing videos and designing interactive experiences. It uses an AI module with models for object segmentation, object motion detection, and motion tracking to enable augmented-reality applications and dynamic and editable advertisements within programmable linear and 360° videos, thereby maximising creativity within video publishing and consumer advertising in an agile and low-cost way that enables new billion-dollar economies. Cinema8 will empower millions of British SMEs to produce videos for all kinds of commercial activities.
