A specialist in wastewater heat recovery (WHR) with several years' experience in developing, installing and operating WHR solutions, use wastewater as a low carbon heat source to drive heat pumps for low carbon heating and domestic hot water production. The project will develop a unique, small scale WHR heat exchange technology to provide WHR to single buildings or smaller community heat networks. This innovation will provide a new source of low-carbon heat where other more traditional heat sources may not be feasible or have already been exhausted. The project will test the next generation WHR heat exchanger under real-world conditions. Once the technology is proven to work reliably, we will look to make it market available in the UK.
