ERA Care - Automated Follow Up for Maternity Mental Health Services

ERA Care is a new feature of Emergency Role Allocation Systems (ERA). ERA Systems allows for digital role pre-allocation in clinical emergencies during labour. Midwives and other professionals arrive at the bedside with improved situational awareness and better team cohesion.ERA Care will understand based on this data which births may have been traumatic for the parent and automatically follow up these parents with a digital validated mental health screening tool. The tool will stratify risk and outline the need for specialist service intervention for the parent in the form of mental health follow up.During this project, the team plans to develop, implement and test this new feature to understand its clinical utility and the impact on services delivery. The project will improve accessibility to peripartum mental health services for parents who need these services most
