This project will establish the effective design of an innovative global platform for youth civic action and personal development. This platform, 'Citizens', would be the world's first structured digital portfolio for civic action and personal development, mapped to the UNSDGs and of direct application in higher education and job applications. The portfolio structure is based on research at UCL's Institute of Education on Global Citizenship Education (UNSDG 4.7), which provides a consistent and benchmarkable portfolio, as well as personalised recommendations on actions.
