ScaleXP is a UK startup which develops and delivers a software platform to SME finance teams and their accountants. The platform automates the interpretation of disparate data sources and provides an interactive dashboard which aids business decision-making and automates routine financial tasks.The scope of this project is to deliver a fully automated, business specific cashflow forecast that targets accountants to provide a new service for their SME clients. Models will be derived using machine learning and integrated data sets across accounting, sales, marketing and banking data sets, specific to each SME.ScaleXP's addressable market is the UK's 1.4m SMEs (1--249 employees) who are responsible for 45% of UK GDP and 43% of private sector employment (British Business Bank, 2021) and their 20,000 SME accountants.This project is anticipated to deliver transformative effects for ScaleXP by opening new markets, generating revenues and team growth through partnerships with accounting firms and businesses by providing innovative solutions that will benefit the UK economy.
