Octiocor is developing new image analysis software that analyses intravascular coronary artery images captured by Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), the highest resolution technology available on the market, and can measure high-risk features and plaque stress. The software can be used to determine efficacy of new cardiovascular drugs before progressing with further costly clinical trials, dramatically accelerating and reducing costs of drug development, and provide a clinical decision aid for stent optimisation and risk prediction of future heart attacks.
