英文摘要
In a world where the demand for video content is rising dramatically and more start-up production companies are incorporating than ever, we feel there is a disparity in the prevision of affordable motion control solutions for productions that specialise in product cinematography in studio settings. Robotic automation allows filmmakers to create precise and repeatable shots that have the potential to create stunningly unique visuals however, the barrier to entry is costly and technically challenging. We want to utilise the affordability of the universal robots combined with intuitive control software to make this technology accessible for non-technical creative professionals. We'll be developing bespoke mechatronic hardware to integrate the robotic arm with the production equipment, as well a native UR app to enable quick and hassle-free changes to the control sequence.Building a software and hardware package that is affordable for smaller production companies around the world, we hope to make the process of creating motion control shots more accessible for everyone.
