Helix is a world-leader in automotive electric motor innovation, delivering a range of motors with unrivalled efficiency at high duty cycle, high configurability for any application, and highest power density. This project will develop innovative manufacturing processes necessary to scale production of Helix's motors. The resulting pilot manufacturing line will show how Helix can power a new generation of high-performance electric vehicles in markets around the world. This new capacity and capability within the UK high-value electric vehicle supply chain will help accelerate the automotive industry's transition to net zero, create high-skilled jobs, and demonstrate how the UK can lead the global green automotive transition as an automotive production powerhouse.
