Implementing VVC codec in WebRTC video conferencing and Ultra Low Latency CDN for reduced network footprint.The project aims to update Sceenic's streaming services to use the most advanced and efficient codec available, namely VVC.The codec was created to facilitate from 4K to 16K streaming, but can also be used to optimise lower resolution and bit rate streams. It will save ~50% of the bitrate requirements. It produces smaller video sizes in comparison to HEVC or AVC and Supports 360-degree streaming and HDR (High Dynamic Range) videos.This capability will allow us to better serve areas with less available bandwidth and less stable connections across our video conferencing and ultra-low latency broadcasting services. By reducing ~50% the video's bitrate, we decrease both the data transmitted over the network and the network's load.
