Project Vision - The UK must continuously innovate to stay at the forefront of design. There is an opportunity to improve design processes, as they are currently inefficient, expensive and time-consuming.Virtual Reality (VR) has the potential to revolutionise the design process. Gravity Sketch (GS) has proven the concept of an immersive collaborative-design tool using tethered VR headsets and gestural controllers. However, GS cannot currently support mobile VR headsets due to limitations of mobile VR headset hardware.Key Objectives - Industrial Research to develop a prototype and prove the viability of Gravity Sketch Mobile Platform (GSMP), which aims to deliver enterprise-ready immersive design software on mobile VR headsets.
