VOID is pioneering a new discipline in polymer engineering, our mission is to commercialise a revolutionary IPplatform - Engineered Nano-cellular Composite (branded "VO+"), initially discovered, patented and developedby Kimberly-Clark Corporation.VO+ is a breakthrough in polymer science that engineers nano-voided structures into polymers to tailor andenhance product performance. A key advantage is the ability to lightweight polymers by up to 50% whilesignificantly enhancing toughness and strength properties.VOID is now seeking to establish international development partnerships to develop and commercialise itstechnology in polyethylene film applications. Innovate UK funding support will enable VOID to accelerate itsmarket research and customer engagement activities, which we anticipate will lead to faster product launches.
