英文摘要
Infinity Health Technology will focus on a radical transformation of caseload managementand patient information handover within hospitals. Critically, the company will build asoftware suite designed by clinicians, for clinicians.Current healthcare software systems take an administrative approach to data management inhospitals. Patient Admission Systems and Health Records tend to be highly centralised anddo not provide on-the-ward solutions in the hands of doctors and nurses. On wards, shareddocuments - often still on paper - are the focus of patient management. Infinity HealthTechnology will build software optimised on desktop and mobile devices to track admittedpatients under clinical review. The Infinity system provides a single point of data entry forcaseload information, including patient details, physical location, admission dates, clinicalpicture and active tasks.Infinity Health Technology will work with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH),a national centre of excellence in orthopaedic care, to pilot the project. A feasibility study hasbeen undertaken at RNOH that shows the pitfalls in the current paper-based protocols, including up to six points of data duplication alone. The Infinity system will enable doctors, nurses and therapists to seamlessly exchange highqualityinformation between individuals, departments, on-call teams during shifts and at pointsof shift-change. No current software provides this functionality. Moreover, our system willtransmit rich auto-alerts and notifications and provide digital tracking and auto-prioritizationof tasks to ensure action is taken and clinically important jobs are not missed. The Infinity System will be powerful “behind the scenes”, accessing data from other systems, interrogating results, alerting clinicians and improving team communication.
