CambridgeIP owns and operates a global patent database of over 100 million documents, which we use as a platform in client projects. Patents are a form of open data, as they are published and made available freely by patent offices around the world. We seek specialist support to prototype the integration of new open data sources into our existing collections. Examples of new open data include data from Companies House, Twitter and LinkedIn. The resulting aggregated data may be delivered to our clients directly by API, made available through a smart phone 'app' and supplied to other data aggregators for use in their own sites and applications.
