The UK Fire Service Open Data Journalism platform will enable members of the public to inspect & explore how the expenditure of this country's disparate Fire Services relate to one another, and to their operational effectiveness. The UK's fire services all produce open data files on their expenditure. But these files are held on disparate websites and in disparate formats. This project will bring together those disparate data sources, clean & map the data onto a common schema and then present the data in a friendly, usable manner using web based data visualisation tools.
