"That the UK climate is heading for much hotter summers over the next few decades is clear and not controversial. There is evidence that shows how serious the effects can be. The increased number of deaths during the heat wave of 2003 are well documented and it is predicted that these events will be normal in the not so distant feature.We have developed an approach to predict if new and existing houses and flats will suffer from overheating in the future. This will allow suitable measures to be taken to prevent overheating in building during hotter summers."
