"WSR Medical Solutions are hoping to take a new device which could help hospitals safely scan paediatric patients.a problem often experienced by radiographers is keeping young infants asleep when transferring them to an MRI scanner. the whole experience can be a very traumatic one for infants and when they are distressed it becomes very difficult to obtain good quality imaging.the MRI cot enables staff to transport the child in a cot which can then be safely used inside the scanner. Thus minimising the trauma and allowing the radiographers to take advantage of the relaxed, sleeping child."
