The clinical trial process has become increasingly fragmented and requires outsourcing, which has had a significantly negative impact on the cost and time taken to develop and approve novel medicines. The current COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted a need for a digital tool that will allow the virtualisation of clinical trials, while the current economic climate demands a cost-effective solution. PHARMASEAL, founded by Daljit Cheema, Ricky Lakhani, Hugh O'Neil, and Lorin Thwaits, aims to provide a digital integrated management system that will reduce both the costs and time associated with each clinical trial.
