Project would be proposed to define which is the vest HB structure to use in lubrication application (semi-blocky or block) by providing greater delivition of their material performance and identifying if there are differences in extending testing related to viscosity build up and or cilm cormation/stabilty that are related to the HB structure. The plan is that the project will therefore contain two elements, which area Scale up of the synthesizers of semi-blockly and blocky HB structures synthesised from deviryl benxene (DVB) and laurel methracujlate. This will involve both the optimisation of the digomensation reaction to crease the control agent and the polymerisation to general the HB polymers for testingconventionally in a large volume reactor continually flow reactorb develop synthesis of clean burn lubricants by practising the same chemistry but this monomevs that contain oxygen included monomer structures to reduce carbon deposition during combustion
