Some selected topics in distributed lattice cryptanalysis

Lattices have become the preferred basis for modern, post-quantum secure public key cryptosystems. This is in no small part due to the efficiency of lattice-based schemes, but also due to the well-studied nature of the underlying computational hardness problems upon which these schemes are built. Despite this, distributing lattice-based cryptanalysis (i.e attacking schemes across many computers at once) has received only minor attention - this is in part, at least, due to the large memory requirements of current state-of-the-art attacks. In this project, we study lattice-based cryptanalysis in the distributed context and extend previously known techniques to the distributed domain.
