key objectives-- to obtain, analyse and interpret new experimental results on the nuclear structure of exotic neutron rich nuclei, such as isotopes of Carbon and Oxygen with excess number of neutrons.-- explore how the new experimental information will help refine the nuclear theory models and challenge their predictions.novel physical sciences methodology-- The experiments are carried in upgraded accelerator facilities in Germany, Japan and the United States; Facilities that are capable of producing these exotic nuclear species.-- These experiments access nuclear structure information by employing appropriate reaction methods and measuring the emerging particles. In particular, this work will employ a sudden one-nucleon removal reaction.
