Measurement of the CKM angle gamma using B -> DKpi, D->Kshh decays

The student will analyse data from Runs 1 and 2 of the LHCb experiment. They will reconstruct B0 -> DKpi decays where the D decays to either KSpipi and KSKK. They will then perform a fit for the signal yields for each B0 flavour in bins of the B meson Dalitz space ( 5 bins ), and D meson Dalitz space ( 2 x 8 bins ). In total the fit will compute the observed signal yields in each bin and use these to extract the underlying physics parameters which are the CP violating phase gamma and several other hadronic parameters.
