英文摘要
Procedural game generation is a new and emerging topic for complex 3D games. Finding appropriate quality metrics and procedural generation methods for more complex games has the potential to save in development time and automate certain aspects of development thus also saving manpower. A measure of which metrics affect the player experience in existing games through multiple experiments is suggested. Firstly, determining if metrics which are appropriate for more simple 2D games (e.g. Tic Tac Toe) can be used to measure quality for more complex 2D games (e.g. Mario). Then increasing complexity to observe if those same metrics, after possible changes and refinements, could be used to measure the quality of more complex 3D games (e.g. DOOM). Overall, culminating to the possible creation of a complex procedural game generation framework which developers can use to automate aspects of game development.
