Very little is known about the collection of localizations of compactly generated triangulated categories outside of specific families of examples. It is not known that there are a set of such localizations, even for the derived category of the projective line. This project will look at various additional conditions that one can place on localizations to ensure there are a set of such, and study the corresponding collections.
