To comprehend the nature of wave-flow interactions in Solar prominences and their role in the evolution of the global corona and space weather near Earth, as well as interplanetary space.To complete this research project, several areas of mathematics, physics and data science will need to be incorporated. The background of the research will be built on a strong basis of understanding regarding astrophysical processes. An extensive knowledge in the processes that occur on the sun and the relevant mathematical theory behind them (such as vector calculus and fluid dynamics) will be key. There will be a notable emphasis on computing and machine learning throughout the duration of the research, where I will be aiming to make use of the latest software when working with data and performing simulations.
